DR. CAP LESESNE IS A NEW YORK BASED, GLOBALLY RECOGNIZED TOP BOARD CERTIFIED PLASTIC SURGEON WITH OVER 30 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE. HIS PASSION IS TO HELP YOU ACHIEVE A MORE REFINED, ENHANCED AND RESTORED YOU.
Facelift and Necklift Surgery
A facelift is a cosmetic surgery procedure that eliminates sagging skin and reestablishes a more youthful appearance, particularly to the cheeks, jawline, and neck.
A top New York facelift specialist, Dr. Lesesne has modified facelift surgery to make it safer, with shorter scars and a more rapid recovery. He does this by limiting the length of facelift incisions, making an incision in front of the ear, commonly known as the "short scar technique." While these procedures primarily address the jawline, a neck lift can also be performed, with an incision behind the ear. Over time, these incisions become well camouflaged in the hairline and natural creases.
A critical component of the analysis is the physical examination of your face. Unlike many other surgeons, we look at your "whole" face. We are interested in all planes of the face including bone, muscle, fascia (fibrous), lipous (fatty), and skin. We note the differences in aging from area to area and we carefully look at wrinkle length, depth, and visibility. Measurements may also be taken to check for asymmetry of the skin, muscle, or bone. Photographs before facelift surgery are also a crucial part of the examination process. We are interested in how your face ages, and we realize that we are seeing you at only one point in time. Therefore, we prefer to analyze previous photographs as well as current photographs. The more analytical information we have, the better.
After the analysis, we will consult with you to develop a treatment plan. This plan will include your goals, treatment options, potential side effects, timing of the procedure, recovery, and location of treatment.
Procedure and Recovery
Facelift surgery is performed in our completely equipped operating suite with a fully monitored recovery room staffed by registered nurses. Facelift surgery requires MAC anesthesia and takes approximately 1.5-2.5 hours.
Prior to your surgery our office will provide you with a written set of post-surgical instructions. We will review these instructions with you, and your caregiver, the day before your scheduled surgery. Based on your medical history and physical, Dr. Lesesne will prescribe medications for pain, swelling, antibiotics to prevent infection. You will see Dr. Lesesne 1-2 days after surgery for your first follow up visit.
Your eyes express more than any other feature of your face. If you suffer from eyes that are heavy, puffy, wrinkled, or pigmented, eyelid surgery may be the right choice for you.
Eyelid surgery, also known as blepharoplasty, can rejuvenate and freshen your eyelids. When your eyelids are smooth rather than puffy or drooping, you appear younger and well rested.
Upper Eyelid Surgery
Dr. Lesesne performs upper eyelid blepharoplasty to remove excess, sagging skin that makes you appear tired and can even impair vision. He can also remove excess fat deposits that make your eyes appear puffy.
Lower Eyelid Surgery
Dr. Lesesne performs lower eyelid blepharoplasty to remove fat deposits that cause "bags" under your eyes. He can also remove excess skin or tighten skin to lessen the appearance of wrinkles and/or eye droopiness.
Both upper and lower eyelid procedures give you a more alert, younger appearance that can last for years with the proper care and attention.

A Rhinoplasty, often referred to as a nose job or nose surgery, is a cosmetic procedure that improves the appearance of the nose. A rhinoplasty is used in reconstructive surgery cases to repair the nose after injury or accident. In some cases, a rhinoplasty is performed to facilitate better breathing. The desired goal of rhinoplasty is a nose that looks natural and blends harmoniously with your facial features. The new results can have a positive effect on the way you feel about yourself.
The majority of men or women who decide to undergo rhinoplasty surgery do so in order to reshape their naturally large or wide nose shapes. Other reasons for rhinoplasty nose surgery include: nose appears too large for your face, there is a bump on the nasal bridge when viewed in profile, your nose seems too wide when viewed from the front, the nasal tip droops or plunges, the tip is thickened or enlarged, your nostrils are excessively flared or wide, your nose is off-center or crooked.
Many patients undergo reconstructive nose surgery due to injury or trauma. If you have been injured in an accident and it has misshaped your nose, Dr. Lesesne can perform rhinoplasty surgery to restore your nose as close to its original shape as possible. If you experience breathing problems or have constructed nasal passages, rhinoplasty or septoplasty surgery is an excellent reconstructive solution to repair the nose and increases the ease of breathing.

Liposuction, more commonly referred to as lipo, is a procedure in which fat is removed from targeted areas, contouring and slimming the shape of your body. Liposuction can be used to remove fat in many areas of the body including the abdomen, thighs, hips, buttocks, arm pit area, inner knees, chest, back, and arms. It can also be performed in conjunction with other reshaping procedures, such as tummy tuck or facelift to further enhance results.
Breast size and breast shape both play an important role in a woman’s self-image. Women who are not happy with the size of the shape of their breast may feel self-conscious or embarrassed about the way they look. We understand these concerns. Dr. Lesesne has over 25 years of experience in breast enhancement procedures and can translate your desires into a surgical procedure tailored to give you the best possible results. Our procedures focus on providing you with the breast size you want while improving your breast shape to be as aesthetically appealing as possible.
An abdominalplasty, commonly known as a tummy tuck, removes excess fat and skin and, in most cases, restores weakened or separated muscles creating an abdominal profile that is smoother and firmer. A flat and well-toned abdomen is something many of us strive for through exercise and weight control. Sometimes these methods cannot achieve our goals.
Mini Tummy Tuck
A mini-tummy tuck is an abdominal plastic surgery procedure that removes excess sagging skin of the lower stomach and a shorter scar than a full abdominoplasty procedure. Tummy tucks and mini tummy tucks can be performed for men and women after massive weight loss, or for women after pregnancy.
Once the excess skin is removed, the lower abdomen and love handle areas can be reshaped and contouring to give you your old waist back by flattening your stomach. The belly button is not changed during a mini-tummy tuck, but an abdominal muscle repair for split rectus muscles (diastasis rectii) can be performed through a mini tummy tuck incision, although this is a difficult procedure that should only be performed by the most experienced abdominoplasty surgeons for best results.
Plastic Surgery for Men
As cosmetic surgery has become more mainstream and affordable, its popularity with men who want to correct imperfections or restore their youthful appearance has increased. Men are turning to plastic surgery to help them achieve a more balanced nose, a trimmer waist line, and a refreshed look via neck lifts, eyelid surgery, and male facelifts.
Consistently rated a top New York plastic surgeon with over 25 years experience, Dr. Cap Lesesne is considered an expert and top choice for cosmetic surgery for men. Having performed over 1000 male facelift and neck lift procedures, his surgical methods and technique have evolved to specifically meet the needs for his male patients.
Dr. Lesesne strongly believes that good cosmetic surgery results for men are best achieved with a natural overall look that creates a younger, refreshed appearance without exhibiting any signs that surgery has been performed.
Many of Dr. Lesesne’s cosmetic and reconstructive procedures have minimal bruising and swelling. Depending on your procedure, you will be back to work within 3-7 days.
In this interview with NBC, Dr. Cap Lesesne discusses the recent surge in cosmetic surgery procedures for men.
Chin and Cheek
Chin lift is a surgical procedure made to balance the face by giving the chin a more lifted or sculpted look. It can be done with other surgeries as well to give your face a more symmetrical look. Also known as mentoplasty, chin surgery can either include an implant being positioned into the chin, or reducing the size of the chin with surgery on the bone.
If you have a chin that is off balance with the rest of your face, being too large or too small, and you would like to give your face a more balanced look, then a chin lift (mentoplasty) may be the right procedure for you.
Strong, prominent cheekbones are an essential component of a handsome or beautiful face. If there is a facial characteristic that is thought to be universally beautiful, then it must be high, well-defined cheekbones. When cheekbones are sallow or when the mid-face appears flat, the face can appear tired and reveal signs of aging sooner.

Injectable treatments are a combination of dermal fillers and protein serums that are used to improve fine lines and wrinkles. Some injectables sculpt anatomical areas of the face creating contour and volume, while others prevent lines due to muscle contractions.
These modern anti-aging treatments are well tolerated by most patients and generate beautiful results with zero downtime.
Wrinkle smoothing injections include:
Botox®, Dysport®, and Xeomin® are some of the best known types of botulinum toxin type A injections. These injections block muscular nerve signals, which then weakens the muscle so it can’t contract. The end result is diminished unwanted facial wrinkles. Botox®, Dysport®, and Xeomin® treatments are an easy way to enhance your appearance with no downtime. Simple and almost painless, they are performed with very small injections into facial muscles that cause the muscles to relax and wrinkles to fade. The injections are very precise and affect only a few muscles of the face. The result is a relaxed and rested appearance within a matter of days by erasing unwanted lines and facial wrinkles.
Dermal fillers are used to create contour and volume. They are injected into the desired area with a very fine needle and produce immediate, visible results. Treatment time for injectable fillers is approximately 30 minutes with a topical anesthetic to reduce any discomfort. While all our injectable procedures are generally well-tolerated, patients are asked to avoid vitamin E, and anti-inflammatory drugs such as ibuprofen and aspirin 7 days prior to treatment to reduce the risk of swelling and bruising.
Restylane® and Juvederm® are FDA approved hyaluronic acid fillers consisting of a long-lasting gel that lifts and adds volume to the areas being treated. These treatments are particularly good with “static” wrinkles, wrinkles which are present even when the face is relaxed, as well as lip augmentation, smile lines, and deep folds. The effects generally last from 6 to 9 months.
Radiesse® is a unique filler that is particularly well suited for augmenting the natural contours of the facial bones, such as the cheeks and jawline. It is made of calcium hydroxylapatite—the same basic substance found naturally in teeth and bones. Radiesse® also stimulates production of your own collagen and causes a smooth and natural improvement in wrinkles that can last for 2 years. Radiesse® can only be injected deep into the skin along the bone of the jaw or cheeks adding facial contour. Treatment time is 30 minutes
Sculptra® works differently than other fillers like Restylane® and Juvederm®. Rather than filling the desired area with a gel formula of hyaluronic acid, Sculptra® stimulates your body to produce its own collagen. Sculptra® works more gradually than other fillers: it can take up to 3 treatments to achieve desired results. The results, however, last up to two years.
Voluma® is an instant, non-surgical solution that adds volume and contour to your face. Consisting of hyaluronic acid, Voluma® is injected into the mid-face, particularly around the cheekbones to create volume and lift. Treatment time is usually 30 minutes and no downtime is required. Voluma® can last up to 2 years.
Clinical Skin Treatments
We believe it is very important for the skin to be at its optimal health. We specialize in medicinal skin procedures to treat a variety of skin concerns, such as scarring, sunspots, age spots, fine lines and wrinkles and to improve the overall look and health of the skin. We offer a variety of techniques and procedures that are customized to achieve a patients individual goals, anatomy, schedule and budget.
Ablative Fraxel Resurfacing (2940)
By utilizing the Palomar 2940 Erbium Laser, we can achieve significant clinical improvement. The ablative 2940 provides a more aggressive treatment for wrinkle reduction and skin tightening. The ablative laser treatment removes a heated column of skin tissue and provides more substantial wrinkle removal and skin tightening than the non ablative fractional lasers. The 2940 ablative laser greatly improves more severe discoloration caused by years of sun damage. There is some downtime (redness, skin flaking for 3-7 days) associated with an ablative fractional laser treatment but patients can expect excellent outcomes after a single treatment.
Non-Ablative Fraxel Resurfacing (1540)
Our non-ablative erbium fractional laser is the ideal treatment for patients who require mild skin resurfacing due to fine lines, discoloration and uneven texture. Unlike other non-invasive laser treatments our mild, yet highly effective, 1540 treatment uses a high level of precision to penetrate deep into the skin to stimulate collagen and greatly improve the overall quality of the skin. There is no downtime for this procedure; however 3-5 treatments are suggested.
Intense Pulsed Light (IPL)
IPL is an extremely successful method of treating skin blemishes such as: sun damaged skin, broken capillaries, blotchiness, fine lines, and brown spots. IPL treatments leave a rejuvenated, smooth and even-toned appearance with zero downtime. This treatment is best suited for patients who suffer from photoaging (brown spots), loss of collagen or redness due to Rosacea and/or broken capillaries.
Dual Laser Treatment
By combing both Fraxel and Intense Pulsed Light technology we can improve skin texture and pigment in one effective treatment. We suggest 4-6 treatments to see maximum results however these treatments can be performed on any part of the body including the chest, arms, face and neck with no downtime. WATCH OUR VIDEO explaining the benefits of our dual laser treatment.
Pulsed Dye Laser (V-Beam)
Our Pulsed Dye Laser, also known as a VBeam Laser, is very effective in treating vascular (red) pigment irregularities. This treatment is best for patients who want to improve the appearance of post-surgical scars, bruising, broken capillaries, spider veins and stretch marks.
Microneedling/ Collagen Induction Therapy with Stem Cells and Growth Factors
Microneedling, more commonly known as Collagen Induction Therapy, stimulates the skin by creating controlled micro-channels deep into the epidermis where the production of collagen and elastin take place. This is an effective procedure for skin resurfacing, scar treatment including surgery, acne and burn scars, reducing large pores, minimizing stretch marks, skin tightening and comprehensive improvement of skin tone and texture.
We utilize a variety of medical grade chemical peels including: glycolic, salicylic, lactic and Trichloroacetic Acid (TCA) to minimize the appearance of fine lines, pigment irregularities due to sun damage, scars, acne and uneven skin texture. Chemical peels stimulate circulation and promote the growth of healthy, plump new skin cells. These chemical peels can be superficial or aggressive depending on the needs of the patient.
