Due to the coronavirus/ COVID-19 pandemic, the office of Dr. Cap Lesesne is doing everything we can to serve our patients during this unprecedented time.
As an alternative to office visits, we are now offering video appointments with Dr. Lesesne.
What is a video or virtual appointment?
A video visit is similar to an office visit, only instead of traveling to our office, you can video conference Dr. Lesesne from your home. Video consultations are highly effective and allow us to fully assess the patient, recommend appropriate treatment and send prescriptions electronically if required.
What types of appointments can I schedule by video?Virtual visits are recommended for the following appointment types:
- Follow-up visits including post-operative appointments
- Pre- operative appointments
- Consultations for cosmetic procedures
- Consultations for reconstructive procedures
Appointments that require in office appointments, such suture removal, still require an office visit and will be scheduled to see Dr. Lesesne in person.
How can I schedule a video consultation?
Will my insurance plan cover video visit?
When appropriate, we will bill insurance companies for non-cosmetic appointments. However, is important to check with our office manager to confirm coverage prior to scheduling your video appointment.
How does a video visit work?
Video appointments are conducted using Zoom and work on any smart phone, personal computer or tablet. Zoom is compatible with both Android and IOS platforms.
What if I have an emergency and I need to see a doctor in-person?
